I'm Cat and my goal is to be a disruptor in the industry. As a queer screenwriter, actor, producer, I'm here to shatter stereotypes and bring light to stories we think we already know. At the heart of my artistic voice, I feel most at home playing and writing characters who are existential loners searching for meaning, while unearthing Pandora's Box along the way.

As an actor I recently appeared with Aida Turturro in the soon to be released feature, Forgive Me Father as well as an exciting role in Memory with Jessica Chastain and Peter Sarsgaard. Since finishing my BFA in acting at Marymount Manhattan College, I’ve worked with some of the top acting teachers in NYC and am developing a series and several feature films. My debut feature The Muse made it into round two or the Sundance Features Lab. Residing between Brooklyn and LA, I am an advocate for Decrim, LGBTQ rights and anyone who's been forced to live in the shadows.

In 2018, I wrote, co - directed and starred in my debut short “Plan B(e)” a black comedy about a young woman named Clarice who faces a pregnancy scare. Spiraling into an existential crisis, the little blue pill comes to life and starts talking to her, forcing her to decide if she is ready for motherhood. The film was nominated for “Best Comedy” at Sunscreen Film Festival and the cast and crew was composed almost entirely of women, POC and LGBTQ+ folks.

Over the course of the pandemic, I wrote an indie feature that is a trauma forward, coming of age tale about sexuality, queerness and fantasy addiction. I am also in the process of developing a series that explores the relationship between the LAPD and sex work. In telling these stories, my goal is to be a rising voice in the industry aimed at eliminating gatekeeping, while holding the door open for my fellow misfits. ;-)
